Footnotes

SILENT CHARGE lacked speed off the rail, came four wide into the stretch, rallied late and was along the final jump. W W ROBIN DE HOOD raced off the rail near the middle of the field, rallied in the stretch and just missed. ECCENTRIC TYPE stalked the leaders off the rail, took a clear lead in the stretch and just failed to last. GRAVANO was never a factor. HOME IN THE CITY vied for the lead just outside and gave way. SAVED BY THE SWORD passed tired ones in the drive. GO JESSE TYLER contested the pace inside and tired. SMART TOO LATE was always outrun. MR. SEZWHO gave way after a half.
