MADDIE MILLER chased the pace to midway on the turn, rallied to challenge while three wide approaching the stretch, drew off through the final furlong under steady handling. WIN ISLAND vied inside of FIESTA WEEKEND early, chased that one around the turn, re bid from between rivals approaching the stretch, dueled inside of the winner to midstretch, proved second best. FIESTA WEEKEND set the pace outside of the runner up on the backstretch, went clear approaching the turn, was headed nearing the stretch and weakened. LACY BY DESIGN was never a factor while racing inside. STAR'S LAST CHANCE was outrun. MY GAL FRIDAY stumbled badly leaving the gate causing her rider to briefly lose his left iron, trailed throughout and was distanced through the stretch. |

NATURAL NINE settled well off the early pace, split rivals while rallying to challenge a sixteenth out, prevailed under urging. SHARIS HIGH COTTON saved ground stalking the pace to the stretch, angled out entering the lane, rallied to challenge leaving midstretch but could not match strides with the winner late. NORWAY HOPE set the pace along the rail and under pressure to the stretch, continued willingly to midstretch before weakening. SECRET MOVER pressed the pace from the two path to the stretch, fought to a narrow lead in upper stretch but was outfinished late. KISSES FOR KARA raced in midpack to the stretch and did not threaten. FOUR SPEED was outrun. UPROARIOUSLY VICKY raced close up on the backstretch, couldn't keep pace entering the turn and faltered. MADAM MARIKO raced well back early, hit a fallen rival leaving the half mile marker and lost his rider. BAILEE'S CLUE trailed on the backstretch, ran into a fallen rival unseating his rider leaving the half mile pole. NAUGATUCK SWEETIE raced close up from between rivals on the backstretch, clipped heels leaving the half mile marker and fell. |
