PHOTO FOR SHOW never far back to the turn, saved ground to the stretch, shifted out for room and finished well to hold the place. WATER ISSUES bobbled at the start then was sent for speed, raced clear briefly to the turn, responded when hooked by the winner into the stretch, could not keep up with that one but battled on late to just miss second. COLLEEN'S JACKPOT pressed the pace to the turn, raced three wide and advanced to loom a factor to the quarter pole, was outrun by the winner to mid stretch then flattened out late. GOLDEN ROMANCE had no speed, raced outside a rival to the stretch but lacked the needed closing response. DESERT GEM stalked the leaders three wide to the stretch then weakened. POCKETFUL O MACH Z was not a factor then was eased when hopelessly beaten but walked off after crossing the finish line. |

THE NOVELIST broke alertly and was quickly clear leaving the chute, set all the pace to the stretch then responded to pressure to remain clear. REVEAL THE STAR was outsprinted early, came two wide to the stretch then closed ground late but did not threaten. RED RIVER VALLEY had no speed, came two wide to the stretch and was along for the show. POMPOSITY had no speed, saved ground to the stretch then lacked a closing response and just missed third. HOT VIDEO tracked the pace to the turn, came three wide to the stretch, was outrun by the winner to mid stretch then weakened. FLOATING MEETING was never far back while saving ground to the turn but gradually dropped back through the drive. AFFIRM CAT was bumped by TABIZ soon after the start, prompted the pace three wide for a half then gave way. LETMIKIEDOIT stumbled at the start, settled mid pack to the turn, came three wide to the stretch but could not reach contention. TABIZ broke in and bumped AFFIRM CAT, took up off that one and became rank, fell back to last and did not recover. |

| 1 | Cannonier: stalked rail, checked 3/8p, quick move, clear, held |
| 3 | Eyes Wide Open (FR): unhurried, rail trip to stretch, angled out, late rally |
| 4 | Lahooq (GB): settled early, 4w 2nd turn, even late |
| 7 | He's a Natural: stalked pace, 2w 2nd turn, no response |
| 2 | Tusko Charlie: lagged early, rail trip, no threat |
| 9 | Gohalo: slow early, saved ground 2nd turn, lacked needed response |
| 6 | Bust Your Bubble: settled early, 3w 2nd turn, empty |
| 5 | Fenway: set pace off rail, gave out |
| 8 | Echo Test: stalked 3wide, gave out |
| Footnotes
|
CANNONIER broke alertly then was permitted to settle just off the pace from the rail, remained inside into the stretch turn and advanced, waited briefly for room at the three eighths then quickly came through inside FENWAY to gain command a quarter out, drew clear in the upper stretch then was all out to hold. EYES WIDE OPEN (FR) raced unhurried to the second turn, came through inside to reach contention in the upper stretch, angled out and closed too late. LAHOOQ (GB) was not asked for speed early while racing just off the rail, came four wide on the second turn to rally into the stretch then lost his punch. HE'S A NATURAL raced within easy striking distance to the second turn but failed to respond. TUSKO CHARLIE was void of early speed, saved ground throughout but did not reach serious contention. GOHALO lacked speed to the second turn, saved ground into the lane but did not rally. BUST YOUR BUBBLE was permitted to settle early, came three wide on the stretch and slackened. FENWAY set all of the pace from just off the rail to midway on the second turn and gave way. ECHO TEST stalked the pace three wide but had little left after six furlongs. |

| Footnotes
|
NOVWAR broke quickly to take a clear lead in the opening quarter, was challenged from the outside by NINETENSOFTHELAW at the quarter pole, disposed of that rival to take a commanding lead in the stretch but shortened stride late and just did hold. HAVRE WINDS lacked good early speed, angled three wide on the turn and finished full of run from the extreme outside. OVERT ACTION broke a bit slow and settled, advanced two wide on the turn and was gaining on the tiring leader in the late stages. BREATHLESS chased the winner to the turn, slipped back while drifting wide but kept to his task and was coming on at the end. NINETENTHSOFTHELAW stalked the winner from the outset, offered a menacing mid two wide on the turn but could not sustain that speed in the lane. ITALIAN STOGIE lagged early then failed to respond. EASTER HALO was never a factor. |

MILLENNIUM SONG broke in stride and dueled with BOLD MIND to the turn, disposed of that rival to take a clear lead, was challenged again in the upper stretch, this time by CLASSIC BRIEF, but again repelled that rival and drew clear driving. CLASSIC BRIEF (IRE) was never too far back, rallied two wide into the stretch to offer his bid at the furlong pole then could not sustain that speed. TONYRONY was permitted to settle early, came four wide to the stretch but had no response. PHYSICAL FORCE raced unhurried early, tried to rally while inside TONYRONY on the turn but had nothing to offer. ADIOS NONINO (URU) broke slow and was outrun. BOLD MIND prompted the winner to the turn and stopped. |
