COED CUTIE, never far back while racing in behind horses, split foes four wide in the upper stretch, then closed determinedly to be along in time. PEACH VALLEY pressed front-running EASTERN EMPRESS three or four wide, gained a slim lead in the upper stretch but couldn't contain the winner late. ZILIA, never far back and racing four or five wide, was empty the last eighth. WILD AT TIMES, nicely placed along the inside into the stretch, eased out four wide in the final furlong but failed to respond. MONSTER BINGE had no rally. GREENLAW, six or seven wide throughout, lacked a closing account. EASTERN EMPRESS gained the lead inside early, made the pace until the final quarter and weakened. ACUFF unseated the rider behind the gate and briefly was loose. During the running, ACUFF ducked out at the start and jolted SALIENT SPRING, then failed to menace while passing tired rivals. SALIENT SPRING, slammed from both sides at the start, was outrun. MY CHANCE TO DANCE ducked in at the start on SALIENT SPRING, then never was prominent. MILE OF SUNSHINE tracked the pace five wide early, drifted out leaving the turn and wasn't persevered with in the drive. TRUE GIRL, nine or 10 wide early, was outrun. |

| Footnotes
|
PARTY SHU tracked the pace three abreast from early on, gained a slight edge in the upper stretch, then gamely withstood DEFAMATION while responding to left-handed encouragement. DEFAMATION maneuvered in behind horses early, was never far back, worked her way out five or six wide for the drive, loomed boldly and wasn't good enough. LINDSEY'S PRIDE, well placed inside for seven furlongs, angled out four wide for the drive but was empty the last eighth. MRS. CLAY, close up between foes early, inched to challenge midway on the far turn, gained a slight edge, held on until the upper stretch and tired. WHATSTHELINE, outrun inside early, reached contention a quarter-mile out, moved out four wide in the final furlong but couldn't muster a late response. MUSICAL BEAUTY gained the lead near the inside early, raced under light restraint, was headed just prior to going six furlongs by MRS. CLAY from the outside, continued forwardly to the stretch and faltered. WHYSOSHY, in contention four or five wide to the far turn, gradually weakened thereafter. LOST COMPOSER, a bit sluggish to start, settled three wide and never reached contention. |

| Footnotes
|
ALEDO PASS settled near the rail in hand early, eased out between foes four wide leaving the turn, wrested command, drew clear, then was kept to his task. IRON TOP, outrun for a half while in behind rivals, split horses four or five wide in the final furlong and was second best. WORLD TRADE vied for the lead at once while four wide, dueled with SUPERPOWER (ARG) while outside that one, gained the advantage but weakened entering the lane. DEHERE BLUES, always well placed while five wide, was with the winner on even terms while outside that one entering the stretch and flattened out. BROCCO BRY, outrun to the stretch and four wide, improved position five wide but wasn't a serious threat. BLACKJACK BOY, outsprinted early and three wide to the stretch, came out five wide for the drive and was empty. DIXIE'S BAND tired after a half. SUPERPOWER (ARG) swerved in badly while breaking slowly, rushed up inside to vie for the lead, held on well for a half, gave way and wasn't persevered with in the late going when hopelessly beaten. |

BO'S SISTER, bumped soundly at the start by GREAT RETURN, settled in behind horses, raced within easy striking distance in hand, angled five wide entering the stretch and moved clear under hand urging. DAZZLING RUBIES attended the pace from between foes early, stuck a head in front approaching the stretch, lost a bit of position when straightened for the drive, then gamely dug in through the late going to be clearly second best. LADIES PRECEPT, never far back while following the leaders five wide, reached the front approaching the final furlong but weakened soon after. KYLERS MIDGE, bumped at the start first by PAUL'S DREAM, then forced in on GREAT RETURN, was checked, raced four or five wide and failed to rally. PAUL'S DREAM leaned in at the start bumping KYLERS MIDGE, forced the pace three or four wide into the stretch and faltered the last eighth. DARLING DEPUTY five or six wide much of the way, failed to rally. DOVE CREEK gained the lead inside early, battled close up until nearing the lane and tired. GREAT RETURN came out bumping with KYLERS MIDGE at the start, bounced back inside into BO'S SISTER, then was outrun. |

CODE SONG gained the lead soon after the start, controlled the pace three wide, managed a clear advantage into the final furlong and continued under steady encouragement. HIGH SPEED ACCESS, never back, followed the winner three wide on the far turn, rallied between foes four wide into the lane, loomed a solid threat into the final furlong but couldn't offer the needed response as second best. BAXTER HALL bumped the side of the gate at the start while breaking awkwardly, settled near the inside, moved between rivals four wide into the stretch and offered a mild gain. MINGE COVE, unhurried early, raced five or six wide most of the way and was empty the last eighth. MAYBE CORA, three wide on the backstretch and outrun to the stretch, maneuvered out seven wide for the drive and improved position while unable to menace. KHE SANH raced in behind the winner in contention to the far turn and couldn't keep pace. MISS OOH LA LA was finished on the far turn. GRAN LADY JADE tired after a half. GOLDEN CACHE bore out eight wide on the first turn and wasn't a threat thereafter. RICHWOOD ROYAL chased the winner four wide to the stretch and tired. |

MAXIMUM IMPACT, outrun for a half, raced four wide on the turn, came out eight abreast for the drive and was fully extended to be along in time. MI PAIS maneuvered in early to track the pace four or five wide, was asked for his best at the five-sixteenths, inched to the front in the upper stretch, then failed to contain MAXIMUM IMPACT in the late going. BLACK TIE TRICK, never far back, angled out between rivals six wide for the drive and was going well at the end. WEEKEND MIRACLE went up early to vie for the lead outside of SERRA RETREAT, battled close up into the final furlong and weakened. SERRA RETREAT contested the pace inside early, dueled on even terms into the final furlong and weakened. THATSALLMON, outrun to the stretch, offered a mild gain. MR. RUMSON failed to rally in an even effort. FARMA'S BEST, within easy striking distance while four wide into the stretch, flattened out. CROWS (ARG) never reached contention. LUCKY CREEK ducked in at the start bumping SUMTER, raced seven or eight wide on the backstretch and failed to menace. TECHNO BABY forced the pace early while four wide, moved inside the leaders leaving the backstretch and gradually weakened. SUMTER, bumped at the start, never was close and wasn't persevered with in the stretch when hopelessly beaten. |
