DUCHESS OF COCOA stalked the pace, rallied to catch NO RULES at the eighth pole, then edged away from that rival in the final sixteenth under pressure. NO RULES quickly moved to the fore, made the pace along the inside to midstretch, then couldn't stay with the winner late while clearly second best. RINGAROUNDAROSIE tracked the leaders off the rail into the stretch and lacked a late response. SINCA hesitated at the start and was never a factor. MISS VICE REGENT saved ground and faltered. CALL FORWARDING showed little and was eased in the final eighth. |

BLENDING SWORDS bumped with BAILAMOS at the start, set the pace along the rail, shook off a challenge from BAILAMOS on the far turn and drew away. BAILAMOS jostled between rivals at the start, stalked the pace three wide, made a run to reach near even terms for command on the far turn, then was no match for the winner in the drive. SIBERIANO clipped heels in the early going, saved ground, made a run along the inside to loom a threat in midstretch, then flattened out. MYSTIC STORM rated off the pace, angled out for the stretch run and lacked the needed response. TALKING RED bumped with BAILAMOS at the start, stalked the pace into the far turn and tired. R. CORIZON DE LEON hit the gate at the start, raced three wide and failed to be a factor. HALO AND ROSES raced in striking position to the far turn and faltered. UNCLE BILL was always outrun. DARNED BOLD steadied from tight quarters early, made a four wide on the far turn to reach contention, then faded. |

MISS CHALICE chased the pace, moved up to reach even terms for command outside MONTICELLO on the turn, then dueled with that rival to inside the eighth pole and drew clear. LADY IRENE reserved early, raced off the rail and closed to be up for the place. MONTICELLO stumbled at the start, showed speed along the inside, responded when challenged by MISS CHALICE, dueled with that rival to past the eighth pole and gave way. ATLANTIC SNOW tracked the leaders three wide around the turn and tired. ONETHINDIME was not a factor. BAILEY'S WISH broke slowly, rushed up along the rail to reach contention, then steadied in tight quarters inside MONTICELLO on the turn and faltered. |
