| 2 | Waller: slipped through inside, led 7/16, lugged out stretch, driving |
| 5 | Johnny Two Fingers: steady advance, drifted upper stretch, carried out late stretch |
| 1 | Frank's Quest: slow early, swung wide upper stretch, mild bid |
| 3 | Gather the Roses: no speed, saved ground to stretch, some gain |
| 6 | Shot From the Sky: broke in tangle, brief foot off rail, gave way |
| 8 | Rare Native: far back, 4 wide 1/4 pole, no threat |
| 4 | Blue Blue Sea: well placed to far turn, gave way |
| 7 | Babinsky: dueled first turn, stopped backstretch |
| Footnotes
|
WALLER slipped through inside of SHOT FROM THE SKY to take the lead at the seven sixteenths pole, showed the way into the stretch, lugged out significantly from just past the eighth pole to the finish line despite strong right handed urging, had just enough left to hold on. JOHNNY TWO FINGERS made a steady advance to be well positioned for the stretch drive, drifted out slightly from the left handed whip at the furlong marker, was carried out late and just missed. FRANK'S QUEST was slow early, swung wide upon reaching the stretch, managed a mild bid. GATHER THE ROSES had no speed, saved ground, managed some gain inside of rivals. SHOT FROM THE SKY broke in a tangle, rushed to the lead, set the early pace while staying off the rail, gave way after a half mile. RARE NATIVE always far back, raced four wide at the quarter pole, was never a threat. BLUE BLUE SEA was well placed to the far turn, gave way. BABINSKY dueled through the first turn, stopped during the run down the backstretch. |

| Footnotes
|
FIVE STAR GENERAL showed good early speed, drew clear in the stretch under a steady drive. I'M NOT POSTY just off the pace, could not match the winner but did prove second best. JUSTNTIME vied for the lead through the backstretch, faded through the turn and stretch. JOYEUX NINER bumped with WAYNE'S BOY from the start to the half mile marker, saved ground and managed a belated rally. SIGNAL CROSSING lugged out through the turn, did not return to be unsaddled and was vanned off. WAYNE'S BOY bumped on both sides at the start, continued to exchange bumps with JOYEUX NINER for the first sixteenth of a mile, showed little thereon. KILI entered the stretch four wide, was no factor. MIA JUSTICE was through early. AFOOLANDHISMONEY stayed close to the leaders to the turn then faltered. I'M BEHAVING well placed early, offered little in the stretch. |

NOT FOR NANA chased EZMAN into the stretch, wore down that rival late under a strong right handed whip. EZMAN had good early foot, inched clear on the turn, could not hold on. BLUFFLETTE never far back in a good position, lacked the needed response. HEMLOCK just off the pace, faded in the final furlong. DEVIL'S SECRET OUT was slow early, improved position without getting into a contentious position. KEEP THE DREAM had no speed, passed tired ones. TUESDAY MORNING midpack on the backstretch, went into a steady fade. JANE SHARP was forced to steady entering the turn, had no rally. OJETA went four wide on the turn, was always outrun. MIDNIGHT SKY broke awkwardly forcing the rider to steady sharply, trailed throughout. |

LETS JUST DO IT broke inwards, saved ground through the clubhouse turn, rolled four deep on the second turn and pulled away in the final sixteenth of a mile. OLYMPIC NIGHT rated in the second flight, remained well placed at the eighth pole, was outfinished. SARDIS tracked the early leader, could not come up with the necessary response. LOVE TINKS set the pace on a clear lead, lost her action shortly after passing the furlong marker and backed up quickly. A BARRY GOOD ACT carried in after the start, was pulling early, went three wide on the clubhouse turn and had little to offer. THE FIFTH ELEMENT was allowed to settle, failed to respond. |

GRACEFUL DEVIL stalked the pace, drew even with the leader with three furlongs to run, pulled clear while being kept to the task at hand. GOLD SUMMIT was allowed to settle, moved up to a strong position at the three eighths pole, proved to be no match for the winner. CAPTAIN CRAIG rated well off the pace, passed tired foes. RECORD LEVEL was slow early, made a steady advance through the far turn then flattened out. RECESS IN HEAVEN backed up readily.
