TROLLETTE was void of early speed then lodged a mild rally late. SAYABEC made a middle move to contention after six furlongs, steadied over AZALEAN'S heels on the second turn then failed to sustain that rally in the drive. SHENANDOAH SMILE broke awkwardly, made a wide middle move then came up empty. AMBER COMET failed to menace. AZALEAN set the pace to the second turn then checked up while tiring on the second turn.

KID RIGO vied for the lead from the outset, continued gamely through a long drive then just failed to last while deadheating for the place. KING'S MESSENGER chased the early leader, bid after three furlongs then also continued gamely through a long drive before also just missing while finishing on even terms for the place. CEVICHE raced evenly. TRUE PASSION was through after a half. WOLF (ARG) trailed.

TENDER VALUE made a run into the far turn, gained the lead in upper stretch then was not quite good enough. GREAT COMMANDER stalked the pace, inched up on the far turn to gain the lead then was not good enough and faded. TONS broke alertly to set the pace for six furlongs then had little left. SIDEREAL showed little. FINANCE THE CAT tired.
