TENNESSEE TUXEDO gained a slight lead inside early, dueled with JOHN GLEN to the stretch and wasn't a match for the winner in the drive as second best. JOHN GLEN came out bumping RUNAWAY STYLE at the start, moved up soon after to vie for the lead outside of TENNESSEE TUXEDO, raced close up to the lane and weakened. MAC'S FLIER, bumped at the start, raced in contention to the stretch but was empty in the drive. THOMPSON GEE stalked the pace five wide and tired approaching the stretch. MCINTYRE, sluggish to begin, never reached serious contention. CALL ME GLORY was outrun to the lane and passed tired foes. GOLD SEARCH ducked in at the break jolting MAC'S FLIER, then tired approaching the stretch. RUNAWAY STYLE, bumped at the start, was finished before going a half. STORM DAMAGE was outrun. |

ELITE TOUR, close up from early on while between foes, gained the lead nearing the final quarter, then was under strong left-handed urging to hold sway. DOLLAR A MINUTE, never far back while in behind horses, moved between foes three wide nearing the stretch, loomed menacingly outside the winner through the lane but wasn't good enough. BOB JO, unhurried early, came out to make a sweeping five wide bid into the lane but was empty the last eighth. TRULY SPOKEN gained a slim lead inside early, made the pace for nearly six furlongs and weakened. MYSTERY LADY raced three wide in a contending position to the stretch and tired. After being pulled up last the wire, MYSTERY LADY was vanned off. HER GREAT AFFAIR tired after six furlongs. CRYSTAL PATTERN was outrun. FAST ACTIVATION faded approaching the final quarter. |
