BILLY ANGEL cruised to the front early, raced two or three wide, drew off into the stretch and was ridden out as much the best. PERSPECTIVE, well placed inside to the lane, couldn't menace the winner while superior to the others. DEE RON stalked BILLY ANGEL five wide into the stretch and flattened out. KENTUCKY SQUALL, within easy striking distance, made a mild run six wide into the upper stretch and failed to continue. GANGPLANK exchanged bumps with HIGHLAND THUNDER at the start, then failed to rally. SNEAKALILPEAK settled inside, raced forwardly until nearing the lane and weakened. MAXIMUS DECIMUS, within striking distance five or six wide until nearing the stretch, weakened thereafter. NICK BOLLETTIERI, five wide, failed to reach contention. SPIRIT OF WOODY never was close. HIGHLAND THUNDER exchanged bumps with GANGPLANK at the start and was always outrun. |
