MY DATE, never far back, moved up between foes four wide at the half-mile ground to force the pace, took over in the upper stretch, then was hard ridden to draw clear. AMERICAN INGOT gained the lead near the inside early, made the pace to the lane, lost the advantage to the winner and was fully extended to save second position. NELLALUNA tracked the pace from early on while four or five wide and couldn't offer the needed response. GHAZI ROSE, never far back, made a five wide bid nearing the final quarter, angled inside the leaders late and lacked a closing account. SOBER MOMENT raced in contention to the stretch and was empty. DENNY'S DEVIL BABY, within striking distance near the inside to the stretch, weakened thereafter. SHESA STRODES LADY was outrun. LIGAN'S BRAT, six wide, drifted out on the far turn and was distanced in the final furlong. |

JUNKINTHETRUNK, forwardly placed near the inside from early on, gained a slim lead while battling inside of FANTASTIC CAROLINE just prior to going a half, raced that one into submission entering the stretch, moved clear and was kept to urging. ALL AT ONCE, never far back and racing near the inside from the beginning, remained near the rail for the drive and was second best. FANTASTIC CAROLINE gained the lead early while maneuvering in four wide, lost the edge to the winner concluding the backstretch, dueled with JUNKINTHETRUNK until the stretch and weakened thereafter. GOOD TALK, outrun to the stretch, offered a mild late gain while no threat to the top two. LEDGE improved position but wasn't a factor. KITTY'S LEGEND, nicely placed in behind horses early, made a bid five wide approaching the final quarter but flattened out when straightened for the drive. UNBRIDLED RUN, unhurried early, raced into contention four or five wide approaching the stretch but was empty in the drive. DEAR TO MY HEART stalked the leaders five or six wide to the far turn and weakened. AUNT IMO, six or seven wide, faded on the far turn. SOCIETY COMMANDER gave way badly leaving the backstretch. |

QUICK DRAW ANNIE, outrun for a half while racing in behind horses three or four wide, circled six wide into the stretch and drove clear late. J T'S LEMOON, also outrun early, made a run from between foes four wide into the final furlong and was second best. WAY FLEETER contested the pace inside from early on, gained a slight edge, battled with JETTIN TO DINNER to the stretch and grudgingly weakened. FEDERAL CASE settled quickly, angled near the inside, rallied from the rail, gained a clear lead between calls but faltered late. FOUR WINDS stalked the dueling leaders four wide into the stretch and flattened out when the test came. PARTY MISS, outrun to the stretch, improved position but wasn't a serious threat. CABIN ONE never menaced. JETTIN TO DINNER vied for the lead from the start while outside of WAY FLEETER five wide, raced on even terms to the stretch and tired. GRANDPA'S GRAY tired early. |

WAVERING CHIEF, reserved early and angled in behind foes, edged up on the far turn, advanced between foes three wide approaching the stretch, angled five wide for the drive, took over a sixteenth out and was under urging to move clear. SCALIA, taken in hand after start, settled four wide, commenced a sweeping run six wide entering the stretch, was going well at the end but wasn't good enough. ROYAL MAMBO gained the lead early, raced three wide while managing the pace into the final furlong and faltered late. HARDRIDINHEARTACHE tracked front-running ROYAL MAMBO from early on while four or five wide, loomed menacingly five wide into the stretch and flattened out. UNREAL, never far back, raced in contention four or five wide until nearing the stretch and weakened. DEVIL'S DANDY, well placed near the inside behind the leaders to the stretch, weakened thereafter. APPROACH failed to rally after exchanging bumps with PORTWOOD at the start. The latter tired on the far turn. FAN DESTINY eased off the inside, raced four wide, tired upon going a half, wasn't persevered with late and was distanced. |
