FERGIE'S SHOWTIME gained position in the early going, rated just off WAGGAMAN ROAD down the backstretch, engaged that one before the second turn, gained the edge turning for home and proved best under strong handling. BROAD VISION close up, ranged up three wide before the second turn, offered his best approaching the drive and while no match for the winner held second. ATTABOY ESKIMO unhurried, could make little impact. MR CLEVER SOCKS back early, raced wide down the backstretch and was no real threat. WAGGAMAN ROAD sprinted clear early, responded when collared, got headed around the second turn and weakened along the rail. ROLLER KING trailed for over a half and was not a factor. VITE VITE VITE showed little. |
