MISS SPENDER never far back, moved up for the drive and then did not have enough late. MISS LUCKY STRIKE close up, lacked the needed rally. EARTHA (IRE) settled along the inside, split foes around the second turn and then lacked the needed finish. GO ZIPPY GO reserved early, rallied outside and showed late interest. PRINCESS HA HA was outrun. IDEALIST devoid speed, moved inside around the first turn, eased out entering the second turn, steadied midway around the turn and then was no threat. ANGEL WITH WINGS back early, rallied mildly along the rail. POONS showed little. EL PORTAL dropped back. PEPESQUEEZ clear early, was collared before the drive and stopped. ZARB'S MUSIC bothered at the break by WHATAMAN WHATAMAN, advanced steadily before the turn, steadied when in tight entering the turn, eased out five wide to bid in the lane, collared the leaders a furlong out, lugged in a bit and prevailed. WARREN'S CLASSIC forward along the rail, was out sprinted around the turn, continued inside for the drive but was out kicked. YO BABY YO between foes early, bid three wide and then did not have enough late. MEAUXJO back early, angled to the rail while unhurried, advanced in upper stretch, was steered out inside the furlong marker and finished gamely. WHATAMAN WHATAMAN veered into ZARB'S MUSIC at the start, was straightened, got clear down the backstretch and gave way once headed. BRILL reserved, had no rally. FROSTY'S COURSE forward while three wide, stopped. |
