AZALEAN reserved early, bid three wide around the second turn and while no match for the winner was best of the rest. MISS BARNER forward along the inside, had no rally. RISQUE'BETTY raced along the rail until before the drive, swung out and could make little impact. QUIET RAIN stalked CALL FOR HONOR from early on, bid around the second turn and then weakened. HART was always back.

YORK AIR (ARG) out sprinted early, moved out for the drive, ranged up outside MR. SANDSTORM inside the furlong marker, took over and proved best under a drive. TRACK BOSS unhurried, rallied outside and was along for second. GOLDEN ARM inside until the drive, eased out and then rallied late. THREE JACK vied outside MR. SANDSTORM, gained the edge nearing the drive and then faltered inside the final sixteenth. CASTLEWOOD had no speed and was no threat. MR. SANDSTORM dueled for a half and stopped.
