WOODMOON rated off the pace, advanced into contention four wide on the far turn, then bumped with ONTHEDEANSLIST nearing the eighth pole and didn't do enough late. FOLKESTONE PARK reserved off the pace, saved ground and lacked a rally. BURNING MARQUE outrun for the lead, chased the pace, raced three wide on the far turn and tired. EUGENE'S THIRD SON set the pace, moved to the inside leaving the backstretch, shook off a challenge from both FORMAL ATTIRE and NEBUCHADNEZZAR on the far turn, then edged away under urging. FORMAL ATTIRE reserved after being steadied inside the leaders on the first turn, came out and made a run three wide to reach near even terms for command leaving the far turn but wasn't good enough. NEBUCHADNEZZAR tracked the pace, made a run to try the leader on the far turn, then weakened in the drive. COLOR ME GONE unhurried after being steadied from tight quarters at the start, angled out for the drive and closed with a mild rally. CROSSTOWN CAPER bobbled at the start, chased the pace three wide into the far turn and tired. CASE CHARMER showed brief speed along the inside, tracked the pace into the far turn and faltered. MASS ATTACK showed little and was eased in the stretch run. |
