ROLLING HOME lacked speed, angled out in the stretch and rallied for a late decision. MONIQUE'S GOLD raced near the middle of the field, came out for the drive, drifted out badly in the stretch then could not hold off the winner. MAC BALU lacked speed, angled out for the drive then was bothered badly in the stretch when MONIQUE'S GOLD came out and could not recover. DREAMERY raced close up inside and weakened. BROKE EGG improved her position in the drive. CONCORDANCE set the pace from the inside while pressed and tired. SILVER RAIN was never a factor. MS. PRENUP raced close up off the rail and tired. THE NAMES NIKI pressed the pace from just outside and tired. AFTER A STEWARDS' INQUIRY, MONIQUE'S GOLD WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND AND PLACE THIRD FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. |
