LOOKIN FOR LOVE , fractious in the starting gate, raced two wide into the stretch, split rivals in upper stretch and drove clear. KICK SAND stalked the pace, came four wide into the stretch, led in midstretch and finished gamely while no match for the winner. PRIVATE CAT raced along the rail throughout, was steadied in close quarters near the three and a half furlongs pole, was checked near the five sixteenths pole and was steadied waiting for room near the eighth pole. HIGH ABOVE set a pressured pace along the rail and gave way. NORTHERN SON , swung five wide entering the stretch, failed to rally. BEAMHIT , steadied leaving the starting gate, was rated along, swung six wide near the sixteenth pole and finished willingly. P. A.'S IRON MAN pressed the pace three wide and gave way.

FLASHY BREW , outrun early, circled the turn five wide and closed willingly. AMY'S BELIEVER saved ground and lacked a solid response. PATTY CAKES , forwardly placed, saved ground into the lane and failed to rally. PUNCHESS stalked the pace three to four wide and faded. MISS LEMON prompted the pace three wide and tired in upper stretch. COZY CON , unruly in the gate, raced wide, dropped back and was not abused.

EURO BOND set the pace along the rail, drifted out entering the stretch, continued to drift out under left hand whipping and gave way in the drive. FLO'S BO raced wide and rallied mildly.
