ROMAN MARKET with the pace from the start, vied between rivals through the turn, got clear when straightened for home, increased lead while being kept to task. WIBBY behind the pace, in some traffic entering the stretch, game for the place while no threat to the winner. RISKY SHAM lacked early foot, came four wide into the stretch, challenged for the runner up spot past the furlong marker, outfinished for that position. CLASSIC NIGHTMARE off slow, settled early, chased the winner into the stretch while in the three path, faltered. BEVIE'S DARE trailed early, improved position while not a serious threat. FAST WILLIE forwardly placed early, faded. BLAKES PISTOL broke sharp, showed the way early, gave way after losing the advantage late in the turn. UNPREDICTABLE B never menaced. ISH AR never close. |

PATTON'S VICTORY got clear up front before a quarter, set a moderate pace, maintained a comfortable advantage through the stretch under token encouragement. ALOTTA NUMBERS chased the winner throughout, no match for that one, well clear of the others. UNLACED WATERS went evenly paced throughout off the rail. COLLEGE DEAN settled off the pace, lacked the needed rally the final quarter. LUZ DE ESPERANZA trailed, also lacked a rally. ONAWINGANDAPRAYER was not a threat. GOLDEN SHERIFF forwardly placed for three quarters, stopped. |
