COMMUNICATE pressed the pace three wide, moved clear out of the second turn, drew off to mid stretch then lasted late. TOP SENOR was void of early speed, fanned six wide out of the second turn then finished well late and outfinished the others. ABENAKI was also void of early speed, fanned seven wide out of the second turn and was also gaining ground late. JUAN TO DANCE made a middle move then checked over OWEN'S WAY'S heels when that one drifted out leaving the furlong marker and altered course to the inside. OWEN'S WAY made a middle move, failed to respond to pressure then drifted out under pressure. DANGER RANGER bid after five furlongs then flattened out. A PERFECTREDRANSOM checked repeatedly inside and behind rivals. HAWK'S FEATHER showed little. OFFENSIVE pressed the pace for six furlongs then faltered. ALEXANDER SPRINGS stopped. The portable inner rail was set at 12 feet.
