JIMMY'S MOVE showed brief speed. ANGEL OF MERCY wouldn't load in the gate delaying the start several minutes then broke slowly and trailed. |

DEVIOUS MORN made a three wide middle move and was best of the rest. BABY STAR lugged out badly setting the pace to the stretch then gave way. SISTERS DREAM raced evenly then pulled up in apparent distress and was vanned off. BLUE CHIP GAL was well placed for five furlongs then gave way. MON AVIE AMOUR raced evenly. DAISY BE GOOD failed to menace. BLACK SERAPHIM was no factor. DOROTHY STAR showed little. THE HAT IS BACK was no threat. |

STARSHIP SPLASHER stalked the leaders early, bid three wide out of the second turn to gain a short lead but was no match for the winner while saving the place. PAUL'S PAST also made a middle move then was slowly gaining late. MECKE MAN fanned six wide then lodged a mild rally. STRAPHANGER chased the early leader, dueled from the backstretch to the furlong grounds then weakened. SANIBEL SAM made a middle move then came up empty. BORN TO LEAD failed to menace. MR FIJI showed little. GIBBERJABBERPITCH dueled to the stretch then stopped. COLD PROSPECT was through early. The portable inner rail was set out 12 feet. |

HASTY FIRE dueled inside from the outset, gained a clear lead after five furlongs then was fully extended to prevail over SMUGGLER'S MOON after a long drive. SMUGGLER MOON stalked the early pace, bid three wide out of the turn then continued gamely through a long drive before just hanging late. CONVEY THE MOMENT made a four wide middle move then was slowly gaining on the top two late. LONDISTANCEROMANCE was well placed but failed to gain in the drive. DROBNEY raced evenly. MATTER OF PRIDE failed to menace. GOLD CHARADE was no factor. GAMBLING KING showed little. WHAT'S THE BUZ CUZ was through after a half. MASTER ZACK stopped. |

TOP SENOR was void of early speed, fanned six wide out of the second turn then finished well late and outfinished the others. A PERFECTREDRANSOM checked repeatedly inside and behind rivals. HAWK'S FEATHER showed little. OFFENSIVE pressed the pace for six furlongs then faltered. ALEXANDER SPRINGS stopped. The portable inner rail was set at 12 feet. |
