PIC POCKET dueled inside to mid stretch, was no match for the winner but saved the place. BISCAY APPEAL pressed the pace for more than a half, steadied and was shuffled back a bit when passed by the winner in the furlong grounds then went evenly once clear. SHARON'S VICTORY was five wide early, made a four wide middle move through the turn but failed to sustain that rally. THERE YOU GO raced evenly. PRIMER COAT was hung seven wide to the turn. OH SAY GLORY was through after a half. CLIFFSIDE was through early. |

|
BIGAMO (URU) dropped to the inside into the second turn, angled back outside five wide to gain clear racing room out of the second turn then after gaining the lead leaving the furlong grounds, lasted late over YUGE. YUGE was void of early speed, fanned seven wide out of the second turn for racing room then finished well late. COMPANY MAN was boxed inside from the backstretch on, was forced to check and take up sharply while lacking racing room along the inner rail through upper stretch then finally found split horses and finished willingly but too late. FLAMING SPARE was shuffled back early, recovered to make a four wide middle move after five furlongs to loom a threat a furlong out before hanging late. REBEL'S MISSION chased the leader, bid out of the second turn to gain a short lead a furlong out then weakened under pressure. JUST JONATHAN set the pace to upper stretch then weakened. MATEEGHAN failed to menace. ROMAN TWIST stopped. A claim of foul by the rider of YUGE against the winner for interference into the second turn was disallowed. The portable rail was set out 22 feet. |
