ABYSSINIAN set the early pace while pressured a bit, took over before a half, drew off into the stretch and was not menaced while under steady urging. PREMIER TOKEN forwardly placed along the inside, lodged a mild bid to be second best. PET BULLY outrun early, could not menace. SUNDANCE FEVER bore out in the initial sixteenth to be almost to the outside rail, rushed to the leader while angling in before going a quarter, held well for a half and faded. COOKIE'S KID carried out past the middle of the strip to be near the outer rail in the initial furlong, was no factor. EXTREME TIDE was no factor. TOM AND ROSES within striking distance off the inside, stopped. |

PARKERS CHAPEL never far back three wide, moved out four wide midway through the turn and tired. MY NAME'S JAMIE outspirnted early, saved ground rallying into the stretch but had little left late. WEST BOGGS PARK forwardly placed off the inside, went evenly in the stretch. VINE GROVE outrun early, made a late gain. J. R.'S TOWN reserved early, was carried eight wide midway through the turn when BONNEVILLE FLASH was eased then could not menace. COURT SAVVY was no factor. TOUGH BUCK was no threat four wide. BONNEVILLE FLASH forced the pace in the three path and was eased on the turn. |
