HALLTHEWAY stalked MONROE DOCTRINE (IRE) from just outside while in hand, was let out into the second turn, drew off then steadily widened command under mostly hand urging. GOLD BIDDER was settled just off the rail through the early going, asked to run entering the stretch, took over second between rivals midstretch and held off MOONRAY for that position under steady handling. MOONRAY raced with OL CHARLIE BOY from just outside throughout, was under a stern drive through the stretch but hung with the latter to the wire. JOEY'S HAJI chased HALLTHEWAY from outside for more than a half mile but gave way on the second turn and lacked a stretch response. MONROE DOCTRINE (IRE) took the early lead inside, was engaged by HALLTHEWAY on the backstretch, proved no match for that one on the second turn and flattened out the final furlong. OL CHARLIE BOY trailed inside through the early going, angled out for room on the second turn but lacked a stretch response three wide. ARTHUR ROY raced with OL CHARLIE BOY from outside, moved to the rail on the second turn but had nothing to offer for the drive. |

| Footnotes
|
B J'S BLACK GOLD was rated inside, swung out on the turn, rallied four wide, caught PRIME CUT in the waning yards and began drawing off. PRIME CUT was hustled along to contest the pace from outside, drew clear and angled in on the turn but wore down through the deep stretch. SAND TRIP was also urged to vie for the early lead, failed to keep up from between horses into the turn, entered the stretch three wide and lacked a significant stretch response. FOG BOUND drifted out once out of the gate, was steadied, picked up her pace on the turn, fanned out into the stretch and provided a mild bid between horses the final furlong. PSYCHO MAMA lunged and swiped the gate at the start, was taken outside and raced evenly. GAITER GIRL failed to menace running three wide. SHEZAGATORGETTOR moved up quickly to dispute the pace, could not sustain her speed on the turn and came up empty for the stretch run. |

| Footnotes
|
CONSENT AGENDA was kept close off the rail, angled in for room into the second turn, took the lead going to the quarter pole, was under a steady drive through the stretch and held on. TEVYA hesitated, then lunged from the gate, gradually advanced off the rail, split rivals into the second turn, was four wide into the stretch, rallied under a stern left whip but lugged in nearing the wire and was taken in hand to correct. SALUTE THIS broke outward, was never a serious contender racing three to four wide but took over third leaving midstretch and held on under a right whip. SAY OLE hesitated at the start to spot the field a couple lengths, trailed well off the rail on the backstretch, angled in on the second turn and was forced to weave in and out through stretch traffic to advance. SOL TYCOON saved ground midpack for more than six furlong, swung out five wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. REJECTED VIDEO was not a factor running outside the rest and could not keep a straight course through the drive. ZIPPIN ZANE pressed FREE STRATEGY from outside, went for the lead three wide on the second turn, shared it briefly but was no match for CONSENT AGENDA into the stretch and faltered between rivals in the lane. FREE STRATEGY sprinted clear, set the pace in hand just off the rail but gave way between horses leaving the second turn. KENNEDY RIVER was hustled along under an early whip, drifted out entering the backstretch, prompted the pace from outside, failed to keep up nearing the second turn, bore out on that bend and was unresponsive through the drive. |

MUST SEE T. V. broke in stride, was hustled along under hand urging to set the pace well off the rail, entered the stretch three wide and kept BARABARA at bay under a drive. BARABARA was bumped hard and forced into FIRST SIGN at the start, prompted the pace just off the rail, tried hard under a steady right whip just inside MUST SEE T. V. through the stretch but lacked a rally. FLORES DANCER pressed MUST SEE T. V. from inside to midstretch then wore down. WILD RASCAL raced in contention outside, took the turn three wide, fanned out some further into the stretch but had no late response. FIRST SIGN, bumped at the start, showed little in a ground-saving trip. SO RUN THE LINE broke inward, bumped hard with BARABARA, was a brief factor outside but gave way on the turn. |

A TALE TO REMEMBER was settled toward the outside for a half mile, advanced between horses going to the second turn, took over under a drive in the upper stretch and held sway under steady handling. TOM TUPPENCE bumped with SWORD FIGHT at the start, was crowded by that one shortly afterward, gradually progressed outside, lost ground fanning out five wide into the stretch but closed well and took over second late. RAWSTON sprinted clear on the first turn, set the pace inside through the second turn, could not fend off A TALE TO REMEMBER in the stretch and wore down late to lose the place. PEERLESS RYAN was settled inside, split rivals three wide leaving the second turn, weaved through traffic to advance to the eighth pole and made up minor ground late. BOLDFALCON was unhurried just off the rail through the early going, angled out four wide on the second bend, fanned out further into the stretch and provided a mild bid outside TOM TUPPENCE in the drive to make up ground the final furlong. CU AT THE BAILEY was settled back at the start, trailed from outside, made his move five wide on the second turn, swung out to the middle of the track for the stretch run but lacked a late bid. ESCALANTE DRIVE chased RAWSTON and SWORD FIGHT for a half mile then had little left. TWO TIMING PAUL raced with ESCALANTE DRIVE from just outside and was never a factor. UNIQUE REAILTY was midpack between rivals for a half mile, faltered after that and was eased in the stretch. SWORD FIGHT prompted RAWSTON from outside for a half mile, faltered nearing the second turn and lost contact with the field. |

| Footnotes
|
DESERT WOLF GIRL stalked FURASH ALERT from outside, commenced her bid leaving the turn, took the lead a sixteenth out and was driven clear. FURASH ALERT broke alertly, set the pace inside, tried hard through the stretch but had to settle for being clearly second best. TIERRA DEL SOL was an early contender from outside, took the turn four wide, lacked a rally through the stretch but held third under left-handed pressure. DORUS DAYMAKER without speed just off the rail, swung out five wide on the turn and made up ground late outside TIERRA DEL SOL to advance. GOLDWALKER chased the pace from outside, could not keep up three wide on the turn and flattened out between horses in the drive. LAST PENNY was not a factor in a wide trip. GOLD TEMPEST reared at the start, broke inward and showed little in a ground-saving trip. JANEA'S DBLDIAMOND failed to menace from off the rail. HIT THE ROAD raced midpack just off the rail, swung out some in the upper stretch, faded and had to be vanned off after the race. |

| Footnotes
|
HYPNOTIQUE RIAL was rated outside SHAWO MOUNTAIN, put to the whip on the second turn, drew off in the stretch, lugged in late and held on under a stern right whip. ELEGANT BEAU was settled off the rail, angled out on the second turn, lost ground fanning out six wide into the stretch and closed fast. THIS IS BOB was unhurried for the first half, advanced between horses into the stretch, rallied three wide but was too late. TORRY was settled outside, fanned out five wide into the stretch and also found best stride too late. ALLTIME BLUES saved ground through the second turn, floated out some into the stretch, was angled back in to the rail going to the eighth pole, steadied in close quarters, got through shortly after that and finished evenly. SHAWO MOUNTAIN sprinted clear, set the pace just off the rail through the second turn, was no match for HYPNOTIQUE RIAL in the drive and flattened out late. DIAMOND YEAR was never a factor in an even effort off the rail. SAY GOODNIGHT chased SHAWO MOUNTAIN from inside to the second turn then gave way. OUR COLORS trailed outside, overtook GOLDEN ZODIAC on the backstretch but was pulled up before going a half mile. GOLDEN ZODIAC quickly faded once onto the backstretch, was pulled up and vanned off. |
