CLEARSOUL lacked speed off the rail, rallied to the lead in the stretch and drew
off under urging. BRIGHTSTAR HIGH took over from the inside on the backstretch
and set the balance of the pace but could not hold off the winner. JOSEFINA
VERDE lacked speed, angled out and gained belatedly for a share. CHATTERBOX MISS
made a bid in the stretch and flattened out. SPORTY HEROINE raced close up early
but tired. TEE WEE had early speed just outside and also tired. CHEQUERTICKET
was through early and finished far back.

stretch to bother POETIC HONOR, was later bumped by STRIKING T then rallied late
and did not miss by much. STRIKING T lacked speed inside, rallied, came out in
the stretch and lacked a winning bid. MILLONARIA raced close up inside but also
lacked a winning rally. THREE MYSTERIES pressed the pace just outside and tired.
POETIC HONOR raced four wide, was bothered in the stretch and was not a factor.
BEAUJESTIC raced near the middle of the field and gave way. MISS CONNIE SUE was
through after a half.
