| Race Summary |
|---|
ATLANTIC FROST stalked the pace just outside, rallied in the stretch and drew
off late. HARBOR GIRL raced close up inside and gained the place while no danger
to the winner. STRIKE ME LUCKY dropped toward the rail into the first turn
bothering foes, raced near the middle of the field, angled out and gained
belatedly. GRAND ILLUSION lacked speed and improved his position. SAD CAFE raced
close up three wide and weakened. PLEASANT MATE lacked speed and passed beaten
ones. VALIANT QUEEN was solidly bumped running into the first turn and was not a
factor. MELANCHOLY was bumped into the rail on the first turn and also failed to
reach contention. SCENE MAKER set the pace from the inside on a clear lead and
tired. THEATRICAL REVIEW was always outrun. SHIRES REFLECTION was also outrun.
TEE OFF raced near the middle of the field and gave way. AFTER A STEWARDS'
INQUIRY, STRIKE ME LUCKY WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM THIRD AND PLACED EIGHTH FOR
INTERFERENCE INTO THE FIRST TURN. (Race run in lane 4, rail at 0.).
