COURTING CONCORDE contested the pace from the outside, drew clear in the stretch then dug in gamely on the rail. BLUE SKIES AHEAD raced close up outside while in hand, rallied three wide approaching the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. CHAMPION RI was outrun early, put in a three wide run on the turn and had little left for the stretch drive. FIGHTING ROY KELLY contested the pace along the inside and tired in the stretch. WILD MAPLE had no response when roused.
