the turn, responded when roused, ran past pacesetter HURRICANE ERICA leaving the
eighth pole and was going away late. HURRICANE ERICA quickly sprinted clear, ran
off to a long lead while setting the pace, had no answer for the winner in the
stretch and continued on to hold the place spot. FAKEYOUOUT was outrun early,
advanced four wide on the turn and offered a mild rally outside. H. R. BOSS LADY
was outrun early, raced greenly while wide and tired in the stretch. K D FORUM
broke slowly, dropped back early and had no rally. LAND OF DREAMS had no
response when roused. ANN'S QUALITY was steadied after the start, chased the
pace while three wide and tired. TRAVEL ON tired after a half mile. PATRIOTIC
PRINCESS chased the pace along the inside and was finished early.

SCHILOH showed good speed outside, rallied three wide on the turn, gained a
short lead into the stretch then dug in resolutely under a strong hand ride
despite being bumped repeatedly through the stretch and prevailed after a hard
drive. TIP CITY was hustled to the front, set the pace along the inside, was
bumped repeatedly while coming out repeatedly while under constant left handed
whipping and battled bravely to the finish. STORM CREEK RISING raced outside and
offered a mild rally. APOLLO JONES chased the pace from the outside and tired in
the stretch. NORTHERN CONCORDE was outrun early while racing greenly and showed
some interest. STEPHEN GOT LUCKY raced greenly and had no rally. BYANOSEJOE
raced greenly while three wide and tired. UNITED raced greenly inside and tired.
Following a Stewards' inquiry into the stretch run, as well as a claim of foul
against the winner by the rider of the second place finisher, SCHILOH was
disqualified from first position and placed second.
