Race Summary

PAINTED DANCER stalked the pace while saving ground early, was angled out in the stretch and rallied between horses, was fully extended to draw clear late. LIBRISONG dueled for the lead early from the inside, came again on the outside in the stretch, could not go with the winner late but was second best. RYNO'S WISH dueled for the lead early from the inside, drew off on the turn and had a large lead, weakened late and began to fade. EASTERN ALL STAR was well placed early on the inside, rallied into the stretch, drifted out a bit and ran evenly late. JORDAN'S PARTY was unhurried early, rallied into the stretch, flattened out and ran evenly late. HARRINGTON was no factor and showed little. RAKIN N THE CASH failed to menace. VALID INDIAN was no threat while wide and lost ground.

WATCH ME LEAVE pressed the pace and dueled for the lead from the inside early, rallied on the turn and drew off, was all out to just last. MARY CAN FLY was well placed early on the outside in mid pack, rallied in the stretch but found his best stride late and was gaining. FANCY ME YOURS dueled for the lead from the outside early, was allowed to settle in upper stretch, came again late and was gaining but too late. SOFT FEELING was pinched back at the start, had a late rally in the stretch and was gaining but too late. THIRTY SIX HOURS dueled for the lead from the inside early, was headed in the stretch, came again and was all out to prevail in a long drive. ARGOSY NORTH dueled for the lead and set the pace early, led in mid stretch, could not get by the winner late but gave way grudgingly. CARY'S OUR MAN was in a good stalking position on the outside early, ran evenly and was no match for the top two. ALBADAR was unhurried early on the inside, improved position in the stretch but was no threat. ESCALADE was void of early speed, improved position in the stretch but was no threat.
