early, dropped inside into the stretch, loomed a bold factor at the furlong pole
but lost her punch. ELEGANT COLORS was permitted to settle early, raced three
wide on the turn and lacked the needed response. ROYALETTE dueled from the
inside to mid turn and faded. CARLA ROSE raced unhurried early, was four wide on

stretch, collared the leader in mid stretch and proved best late. MAZELMAN
sprinted clear in the early stages to set all of the pace to mid stretch then
gradually slackened. DANNY DINGLE broke a bit slow but raced up inside to stalk
the pace, eased off the rail on the turn to be three wide into the stretch but
lacked the needed late response. GREATDAYINTHELAKE settled early, saved ground
to the stretch but did not rally. GO BON showed little in a dull try. BEST
KNIGHT EVER broke slow and had no speed. MAGNA TICE raced in contention to the
turn but came up empty while three wide on the turn.

ATTACK FORCE was permitted to lag in the early going, advanced inside on the
turn to reach serious contention at the head of the lane, shifted to the extreme
outside for the drive and closed steadily, collared TRISH'S DIAMOND in mid
stretch, and won going away driving. TRISH'S DIAMOND stalked the dueling leaders
from the outset, came three wide into the lane, forged to a brief lead inside
the furlong pole but could not hold the winner late. SLOAT BLVD set a pressured
pace from the inside to the furlong pole and weakened. MO MON raced unhurried
and just outside the winner to mid turn then lacked a solid closing response.
TRICKEY TREVOR prompted SLOAT BLVD from the outside into the stretch and came up
empty.

| Race Summary |
|---|
ROYAL IRISH was never too far back, shifted four wide nearing the quarter pole
to offer his bid, gained command nearing the furlong pole, drew clear then held
EVENING NEWS safe in the late stages. EVENING NEWS took back at the break and
lagged to the turn, angled three wide into the stretch and closed steadily to
the deep stretch then lost some of his punch. JANZIG AFFAIR tracked the dueling
leaders from the rail, was boxed and waited for room on the turn, dropped to the
rail for the drive, checked briefly inside SKOOKUM PASS at the furlong pole,
loomed a bold factor but flattened out late. SKOOKUM PASS set a pressured pace
from the inside, came off the rail slightly once in the stretch and weakened.
SCREAMIN PASSION prompted the pace two wide to the stretch and came up empty.
NORTH TIDE had no speed. MR. YATOOMA was permitted to settle early then failed
to respond on the turn while racing just off the rail.
