| Race Summary |
|---|
GOOD AS SILVER, forwardly placed from the outset, maneuvered in to force the
issue four wide, inched to the front approaching the stretch, settled into the
lane with a clear advantage and widened under strong handling. CASA NEKIA,
outsprinted early, advanced into the lane five wide from between horses,
continued five wide and bested the others while not a threat. ROAD TO MANDALAY
contested the pace from the start, edged inward, battled close up into the lane
and weakened. OLYMPIC EMBLEM, within striking distance throughout while five or
six wide, failed to offer a closing bid. PASSIONS ROAR raced in a challenging
position from the beginning, was four wide for the drive but flattened out.
REGAL CASE, outrun for a half, came out nine wide for the stretch run and
improved position. ROLLER GIRL failed to reach contention. MISS SMART ALEC made
a run four or five wide approaching the final quarter but faltered when
straightened for the drive. CALLINTHETROOPS was never close. LIT UP raced in
contention inside for a half and tired. VICTORIA BREEZE was outrun. LINGERIE
battled for the lead the opening half and gave way readily.
