SIR CHEROKEE, reserved early and five wide, was unhurried for a half, edged
closer nearing the stretch while remaining off the inside, wrested command in
the upper stretch and drew off under urging. FIRE SLAM raced forwardly from the
outset, was eased back four wide leaving the backstretch, came out six wide when
straightened into the stretch and was fully extended for the place. SLATE RUN,
close up three or four wide from the outset, continued four wide, was with the
winner while inside that one entering the upper stretch but couldn't keep pace.
PRIVATE HORDE, forwardly placed between foes early four wide, reached the front
between calls on the turn, held on well until the stretch and weakened. STERLING
GOLD, five or six wide to the end of the backstretch while within easy striking
distance, continued four wide around the bend and tired in the drive. CAPPUCHINO
sprinted clear soon after the start, maneuvered in to race two or three wide,
made the pace for a half and gradually weakened.

| Race Summary |

SKY BRIO contested the pace inside early, dueled with PROSCENIUM, alternated for
the advantage with that one, took over for good on the far turn, then gamely
held sway under strong handling. TROMP, rated off the leaders four or five wide,
ranged up outside the winner for the drive, had clear aim and wasn't good
enough. CAT'S REVENGE, outrun for a mile, came out eight wide entering the
stretch and was going well at the end. SANTO PIO, seven or eight wide on the
first turn, raced within striking distance to the stretch but couldn't muster
the needed late response. ROSINSKY, outrun to the stretch, made a mild run to
reach contention in the upper stretch and failed to continue. CLINCH, outrun to
the stretch, improved position but wasn't a threat. FUNEWGIE tired before going
a mile. PROSCENIUM forced the pace from early on while five wide, battled
forwardly until nearing the stretch and tired. A TOUCH OF THUNDER tired on the
far turn. MR. STORM DANCER was outrun throughout and distanced.
