SUPER FROLIC rated off the pace, rallied three wide on the far turn to reach even terms for command at the quarter pole, dueled with VERKADE to deep stretch and edged away. The latter, set the pace under pressure along the inside, responded when challenged by SUPER FROLIC on the far turn, then was edged to the wire in the closing strides after a prolonged duel. MUCH RESPECT reserved off the pace, made a run four wide on the far turn to reach the leaders, then tired in the drive. ROMOLO'S FRITZI allowed to settle, raced three wide on the far turn and faltered. BLACK MAMBO saved ground and failed to be a factor. PREDAWN RAID pressed the pace outside VERKADE into the far turn, faded and was eased in the final eighth.
