| Race Summary |
|---|
SINGABALLAD bumped SWISS VALLEY racing into the first turn, stalked the pace,
rallied to take over and draw clear on the far turn, then was fully extended to
remain clear to the finish. TALKING ROSIE unhurried early, raced four wide on
the far turn and closed with a mild rally to be up for the place. ROYAL KISS
vied for the lead outside SILK DOVE into the far turn, then weakened. SWISS
VALLEY bumped with SINGABALLAD and bounced into TOUCH OF FORTUNE racing into the
first turn, tracked the pace to nearing the stretch, then tired. MARINELAND
failed to menace. TOUCH OF FORTUNE stumbled when bumped by SWISS VALLEY in the
early going and was not a factor. REAL STACK up close early, faltered. SILK DOVE
vied for the lead along the inside into the far turn and faded. EMMA'S R HOPE
dwelt badly at the start and trailed. There was a stewards inquiry into EMMA'S R
HOPE at the start. No action was taken. Also the rider of SWISS VALLEY lodged an
objection against the rider of SINGABALLAD for alleged interference racing into
the first turn. The claim of foul was not allowed.
