REDDING WOODS settled just off the leaders into the second turn, responded readily when set down four wide, made the lead in upper stretch and won going away. T P LOUIE prompted the pace into the stretch, gained a slight lead, brushed with MATTHEW'S PROSPECT then finished second best. MATTHEW'S PROSPECT reluctant to load, sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, set the pace into the final turn, brushed with T P LOUIE entering the stretch then was outfinished. CINNAMON RIDGE unhurried, loomed boldly on the final turn then leveled off. RICH MARCH prompted the pace for a half then gradually weakened. RUFF N STORMY checked going into the first turn, was a sharp factor for a half then weakened. RED SHIFT was no factor. PAPE failed to reach contention. LEADER'S CHOICE trailed. |

THOR'S FURY went up to make the lead after a quarter, widened into the stretch and won under a hand ride. FAR OUT CHRIS unhurried, had a mild late rally four wide and finished clear for second. TAMA well back into the stretch, was steadily gaining ground three wide. SHAWHAAM with the second flight into the final turn, offered a mild bid into the stretch then finished evenly. SOCIAL LIES also bid into the stretch under strong pressure but was outfinished. LITTLE RIBS failed to reach contention. BEST SURPRISE was outrun. NORLINA trailed. GAMBLIN ANNIE also unhurried, rallied determinedly into the stretch, drew on even terms for the lead late then could not handle the winner. HILL CAT made the lead before a half, set the pace until deep stretch then was outfinished. STORMIN' BETTY broke alertly to set the pace for almost a half, remained a sharp factor into the stretch then faded. LETTINGO well placed, lacked a closing response. MS HAYSEED prompted the pace for a half then gave way. K J'S ROSE was no threat. LIL BIT O' MAGIC was no factor. WHISKEY'S GIRL trailed. |

RISK REWARD stumbled at the start, recovered to be within striking distance, advanced steadily just off the rail, made the lead on the final turn then drew clear under right handed urging. SUDDEN FLIGHT allowed to settle, rallied determinedly three wide and finished clear for second. TRUCULENT POW WOW prompted the early pace, assumed command after a quarter, set the pace into the final turn then weakened late. TURNPIKE JOHNNY was steadily gaining ground four wide through the stretch. HUNTER JO was not a threat. HOT RODIN was close up into the stretch then flattened out. PRENEER bore in at the start bumping with FRIENDOFTHEDEVIL then was through early. GIACOBBE bore out on the first turn, offered a mild bid three wide before a half then tired. CUT TO THE HUNT set the early pace and stopped. FRIENDOFTHEDEVIL was bumped hard at the start then trailed. |
