ON PROSPECT STREET in tight then steadied at the start, prompted the pace four
wide, lacked a late bid. WAYINTHEBACKTWO pressed the pace three wide, lacked a
late response. GRASSY BUTTE bore out and bumped with SCRATCH SHOPPER at the
start, stalked the pace four and five wide, had no response in the stretch.
SUMMER SLICE failed to menace, three and four wide. SCRATCH SHOPPER bumped at
the start, flashed early speed six wide, tired. WANDA'S SONG hesitated and then
lunged at the start, showed little.

clear through the stretch under a strong drive. SIR MASKALOT bobbled at the
start, advanced four wide down the backstretch, bid along the rail around the
turn and finished well. TALKING RED in tight at the start, was reserved for
three quarters, finished willingly on the rail. GUN BARREL CITY stalked the pace
three and four wide, failed to respond. FIVE TANGO CHARLIE made her rally three
wide on the turn, loomed a strong factor but flattened out. IRISH KING prompted
the pace three wide, lacked a closing bid. KEYSISTER hard used three wide,
tired. COURTRICITY set the pace for six furlongs under heavy pressure, faded
through the stretch. LOST CITY five wide along the backstretch, was no factor.
THE ISSUE IS POWER saved ground to be in striking position but had little left
for the drive.
