| Race Summary |
|---|
PENITENT unhurried in the early going, moved up between rivals around the final
turn, angled out, entered the stretch four wide, made an outside bid and got up
in time. ROCKIN ROOSTER pressed the early pace, raced four wide around the first
turn, came around the final turn three wide and got up for second. MY MAGIC KING
went to the front, drove clear, moved to the rail and got outfinished late.
SOUTHERN RAGE brushed start, pressed the early pace, saved ground around the
final turn and lacked a late rally. HEZ A BEAR was an early factor, forwardly
placed until late, faded down the home stretch. NO SURGEON raced in the middle
of the field, came around the first turn five wide and put forth an even effort.
CARO'S ALLEY lacked early speed and was never close. ONE KNIGHT broke out at the
start, raced in the rear, came around the final turn four wide and was outrun.
WAVERLY NASKRA void of early speed, pulled up at the head of the final stretch
and was vanned off.
