KODEMA challenged for the early lead, drove clear and was kept to the task. SPRITELY WALKER raced within contention, came around the second turn four wide, made a bid, couldn't catch the leader, but got up for second. PRINCE SLEW lacked early speed, raced four wide around the second turn, made a late bid and finished willingly.
