Race Summary

W WON hustled clear early, set the pace and proved best while kept to the task. MY BLAZE SON close up, settled off the rail, made a run at the winner and was game for second. TAMAAKAJO angled in going to the first turn, raced forward and then lacked the needed finish. THUNDER ATSUNRISE bumped at the break by SMOOTH WILLIE R., angled to the rail in the early going, moved up midway down the backstretch, switched out before the turn, continued out and could make little impact. SHARP COMMAND bothered at the break, was devoid speed and no real threat. MR. ELDORADO moved out early, raced within striking distance and then faded. JUST WALTZ wide early, crossed to the rail down the backstretch, remained inside and then dropped back. SMOOTH WILLIE R. veered in at the break bothering inner foes and then was outrun.

Race Summary

ROY'S RAISE hustled up from the inside, vied for the lead around the turn, shook clear nearing mid stretch and then lasted. ITSADREAM forward between foes early, got out footed around the turn, rallied four wide for the drive and just missed. UNPLOYMENT devoid speed, advanced nearing the drive, angled out, closed gamely but was too late. WHATAMAN WHATAMAN out sprinted early, moved up for the drive and then lacked the needed finish. LOUIECANDOIT vied between foes while holding the slight edge, weakened late. FROSTY'S CHAMP forced the pace outside the leaders and then faltered late. GARRETTS GRAY back early, circled foes and improved position. SOVEREIGN REINS saved ground to no avail. BARBER TALK was always back. A BAG A DAY showed little. CONTESSA SLANEY within striking distance, rallied outside the leaders approaching the drive, took over and proved clearly best. DRINKSONME raced inside early, eased out a bit down the backstretch, moved back to the inside entering the second turn, continued inside to rally and got up for second. STELLA COME BACK set a pressured pace, was overtaken in upper stretch and then lasted for third. SACRED GEM devoid speed, rallied late mid track. KRISTY'S DREAM trailed early and then improved position. LISKA'S LYRIC forced the pace until before the drive and then gave way. GOOSE DINNER showed little. GRANNY SURE SHOT was outrun.
