| Race Summary |
|---|
BUTEO set the pace along the inside, drew clear in the stretch and remained
clear to the wire under urging. QUICK AMERICAN rated off the pace, saved ground
and closed to be up for the place. FLAMINGO RED reserved after breaking slowly,
rallied along the rail to gain the show. PERIMETER chased the pace into the
stretch and gave way. ALENA'S BOY unhurried after being steadied in the early
going, passed tired rivals in the drive. WILD PAUL outrun after breaking poorly,
failed to menace. KYLE'S KING off slowly, was not a factor. BIG OUT chased the
leaders five wide around the turn and tired. AWESOME ALLEN chased the pace four
wide around the turn and faltered. RESPLENDENCE chased the pace three wide to
nearing the stretch and faded.
