contention, then drew off in the stretch while under strong encouragement.
ALEXANDER'S SWORD was slow early, raced four wide on the second turn and rallied
late for place. SECRET CASE was void of early speed, raced along the inside on
the far turn and found his best stride late. ONE IRON vied for the lead from the
start, raced along the two path through the far turn, then weakened in the
drive. BOMBER ACE vied for the lead from along the inside through the second
turn, then tired from those efforts. FUNDAMENTAL pressed the early pace, raced
inside on the far turn and failed to sustain his bid. END THE TERROR raced two
wide on the second turn and failed to menace. SILVER PACT raced three wide on
the second turn, then angled outward at the 1/4 pole but was not a factor.
REPORT ON CLASS showed good early speed, raced three wide on the second turn and
was outrun.
