pace, rebid between foes at the top of the stretch then moved clear midstretch
under a drive. THUNDER BOWL, well back early, moved off the rail late turn then
rallied seven-wide. ABSOLUTE SILVER vied early, inherited the rail early turn,
gained a short lead late turn but was engaged at the top of the stretch and gave
way grudgingly in the final furlong. GOLF TRIP, well back early on the second
path, saved ground into the stretch, was blocked in the late stages and angled
out to finish gamely. RIVER HEIGHTS gained four-wide late turn, was blocked at
the top of the stretch, angled out and rallied gamely. FRENCH BERET, in touch
between foes, was blocked late turn and hung in the stretch. PYRITE DELIGHT,
squeezed back entering the turn, saved ground then evened out. SPIRITWOOD raced
forwardly, was five deep on the turn, bid at the top of the stretch, could not
match strides and flattened out. ENTRENCHMENT trailed to the top of the stretch
and never reached contention. PORTS N PORSCHES pressed early then moved up to
duel six-wide, came five-deep to the top of the stretch, launched an all out
drive but tired. AGENT HANRATTY dueled four-deep, tired at the top of the
stretch. EVERBLAZING dueled three-deep, gave way late turn and tired badly.

MY LUCKY STRIKE settled after an alert beginning, angled out at the top of the
stretch, was bumped by FRANK'S SELECTION, bid nearing the 1/8 pole and took
command then held FRANK'S SELECTION safe under a drive. FRANK'S SELECTION raced
from off the pace, swung out at the top of the stretch, bumped MY LUCKY STRIKE
then determinedly. I THEE WED raced forwardly, was taken under a strong hold
entering the turn and dropped back a bit, stalked then took command three-wide
upper stretch and moved clear then yielded with a furlong to run. ALL STAR LOVER
stalked from the rail, bobbled slightly leaving the backstretch, saved ground to
the stretch, angled out after straightening away but hung. VEGAS VENTURE broke
in the air, raced evenly from off the pace along the rail. DRAW FIRE dueled,
held a short lead late turn then tired upper stretch. LUCKY PULPIT dueled from
the rail and tired upper stretch. A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE TRAINER OF FRANK'S
SELECTION AGAINST MY LUCKY STRIKE FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH WAS
DISALLOWED.

CRAFTY STAG raced forwardly four-wide on the first turn, moved clear early on
the backstretch, was used on the far turn and held sway under a drive. A REAL
GOOD MAN raced from off the pace, closed four-wide on the far turn, was all out
in the stretch and gaining late. M. V. P. ALEX, unhurried early, was roused on
the turn then closed belatedly outside the field. COME FOLLOW ME raced midpack
and rallied late between foes. TSU PRECOCIOUS raced from off the pace, was all
out upper stretch but flattened out late. LOVER'S STAR stumbled at the start,
recovered quickly and raced forwardly, stalked on the backstretch and turn then
tired. CAPE CARSON stalked the pace, moved to the second path on the far turn
turn, moved to the rail at the top of the stretch then flattened out. SYLON
stalked the pace from the rail, tired late turn. CANADIAN CITY raced from off
the pace, tired badly on the far turn and was eased in the stretch.
