A Short History of ProPace Software
Introduced July 2000Types of files accepted by ProPace are TSN 50 cent files and ProCaps files. BRIS DRF, Neurax, Multicaps and HAT files. Trackmaster files from AXIS. When you put the correct path and file extension in the Prefs Text file ProPace automatically Handicaps a days card in a few seconds. You will need to change the extension for the files in the Edit Prefs Text on ProPace. You get to this by clicking on the Edit at the top of the software and then changing the paths in the 5 windows you find there. See the FREE quick start file on the ProPace download page.
We released the first version of ProPace in July of 2000. In August of 2000 we got our first positive feedback. Using our established rules from the Secrets of Handicapping, and our rules for play with ProPace, one of our customers wrote us about a trifecta he had hit at FEX (Fort Erie) in Canada. He arrived at the track about 3 minutes before post time and didn't have time to handicap so he just bet the top 3 Value Horses (1st, 2nd, 4th picks) on the ProPace Contender Report in a $2 Trifecta box and a $2 Exacta box which cost $24. Three minutes later he collected $6,800 and change.
Since that time we've had numerous trifectas that were hit as the "top three" value horses. By "Value" horses we mean those 8/1 or higher morning line, and less than that under our Vodds column on the Contender Report put out by the software, and higher than the odds on the tote. We've also had many, many trifectas reported in the top 3 of the Contender Report!
PS... The FDK is one of our long shot angles the software looks for, along with other things that signal trainer intent, that point out horses going off at 5/1 or greater. These things are what make up the Contender Report. The speed report is the Projected Speed depending on the winners speed of the horse's last race. In the case of First Time Starters we use workout speeds and a couple other things to rate them. These are the two reports we depend on most. WE use the Speed Report to look at sprints, and all races on known speed tracks. We recommend handicapping the top 5 horses on the Contender Report and the top 3 horses on the Projected Speed report. This is the way we play when we don't have time to 'cap the whole race. Of course if there are only three or less Major angle horses (WIR and FDK) we recommend making sure those horses are not viable plays according to the SOH eBook before going any farther. If they are viable we play one or more of those as our KEY horse.

These are some reports we got back shortly after releasing ProPace to our old DOS program owners.

The new software is great. I have used it for three racing days in which I only played one different track each day. Already it has helped me pick winners of 24.80, 36.20. and 46.80. It's GREAT! Mark R.
I thought you'd like to know that at Penn National race 1 today (using ProPace and your teaching), I dutched two angle horses (4 and 9) that were good Vodds horses. The results follow:
#9 78.20 30.80 9.20
#4 11.40 7.20
Exacta 9-4 $637.40
I had the exacta in a three horse box. I did not play the trifecta but wish I had as I would have had it with a four horse box. It paid $2,567 and change. Thanks, Mark R.

Thought I'd let you know what happened yesterday at the Fort (Fort Erie). In the 6th race the Contender Report had them 6, 8, 4, 2 and 7. The odds chart is below:
ML Vodds Tote odds
#6 12-1 5-1 12-1
#8 12-1 5-1 15-1
#4 6-1 12-1 6-1
#2 20-1 12-1 31-1
#7 6-1 12-1 6-1
There was Value on 2, 6, 8. Results 8, 6, 2. Ex paid $548.20 tri paid $6334.00. Thanks,
Lorne K.
(He went on to clear nearly $100,000 in the last 6 months of 2000)~~~~~~~~~~
These are just a small sample of the hits made since July 2000 when we started having some of our customers test drive the new ProPace software. They have proved to themselves and others that our software outperforms most anything on the market.

Hi Jerry
As you know from previous letters that I've sent you, in regards to my own personal experiences using ProPace, I've had a fantastic year. In the last six months (after getting my act together) I've had the enjoyment of cashing in tickets to the tune of $86,000.00 Plus. Let me tell you this. Without the use of ProPace and the Secrets of Handicapping, I'd still be floundering around in left field some where. Jerry, please feel free to use any of my testimonials as you see fit. As you know, all results can be verified in a variety of ways. Anyone can have the kind of year that I'm having using ProPace, and if they study they can't help but make money. THANKS Jerry for all you have taught me. It is much appreciated. All the best my friend. Lorne K.

I have to say Jerry, you have created one "INGENIOUS" Program in ProPace! I believe that after getting to know the inner workings of the program and the ratings much better I will see why I ALWAYS missed those nicer paying mutuels because of what I could never see. "KUDOS to you on your AWESOME Program Jerry"!!!
Thanks for the nice tips! I have tried quite a few programs Jerry, and yours Presents a fabulous Departure and challenge from all of the same old somewhat regurgitated Mumbo Jumbo that many other folks put out there (for lack of better words)!! :>)))
Once again, many Thanks! Mike :>))

Dear Jerry,
I had a nice exacta and trifecta hit today at the track in SAX race 10, but I regret is that I didn't play the $1 superfecta. Only one ticket won, paying $160,942.60. The contender report had the winner, place, show, and 4th in the top seven spots. (Suggested wagering for exotics)
The winner was easy to see being FDK, 1 RSL (off for over 8 months), SRA, favored in its last race, dropping two pounds, stretching out from 5.5f to 6f., running an even race in its’ last, and finally the cherry cementing the key was the trainer's cute maneuver where on March 28 the horse had a 6F work in a sharp 1:11 2/5 (extremely fast workout for 25k maiden claiming), contributing to what looks like an awful race in its’ last. The only negative that I saw was that she was 5 years old and still a maiden, but with her works and all the above she seemed like an extremely good bet to make.
The second place horse also had an FDK pattern and exited from the same race as our key. My concern was that she was an E horse on the outside, but a closer look revealed that she was more an EP horse, if anything and if she ran to her second back she should definitely be in the hunt.
And the 3rd place finisher was a first timer with a good string of works and one of only 2 horses entered for $22,500, instead of the $25k claiming price. Oh, by the way the $1 ex. paid $162.40 and the $1 trifecta paid $6,215. That's more than a few nachos I owe you, partner :o). Take Care, Richard
